Over many years creative and artistic experience as a Instructor of Dance, Choreographer/Dancer, Composer/Lyricist, Lecturer, and author of Poetry and Prose. Developed own stretching and movement methods emphasizing freedom of body and body awareness; highly successful in increasing energy levels in people of all ages in Israel and abroad. A second career as a restraunteur and chef in the USA.
Instructor of Dance
• One of the founding members and principle dancer of the Inbal Dance Theatre of Israel, which has performed creative dance throughout the world under the direction of Sara Levi-Tenai, creator and artistic director.
• Studied with full scholarship at Martha Graham School in New York for several years and studied with Anna Sokolov in Israel prior to that
• Served as Faculty Member of the Hebrew Art School of Music and Dance in New York City
• Featured in Dance Magazine when a workshop at New York City Dance drew a record enrollment
• Taught Modern Dance and Body Awareness at the Jewish Community Center of Cincinnati and University of Cincinnati
Choreographer/Dancer
• Created dance movement and composed music for the Broadway Production of “Gideon” a Patty Chayefsky play staring Frederick March
• Choreographed dance and performed in productions for TV variety shows with Theodore Bikel (“The Eternal Light”).
• Choreographed dance for “The Sabra Dancers” for years in Ohio
• Acted with Inbal in the film spectacular “The Greatest Story Every Told” with many of Hollywood’s well known stars (George Stevens Production)
Composer/ Lyricist
• Composed melodies and lyrics for performances and recordings by Ertha Kitt
Owner/ Operator/Chef
• Of a series of quality food service operations, from restaurants to catering in Ohio for community events and special occasions
Author
Author of several books, all with excellent reviews, of poetry and prose using his experiences and philosophy as his resource in both Hebrew and English.
Volunteer Activities
• Active in community, fraternal and religious organizations in Cincinnati, serving at various times as an officer (President Lodge #4 for years) in B’nai Brith and president of the Ivria Society and others
